The app's interface is in English or Simplified Chinese.
Available in 174 countries or regions; not in mainland China.
Your own seats.aero data (optional): if you have a seats.aero account with API access (seats.aero decides
which accounts have API access; AwardGrid sells nothing), you can connect it to see results from that account
instead of sample data.
AwardGrid is free on the App Store (App ID 6816321841).

Illustrative figures, not seats.aero data. In the app, results come from your seats.aero account, or from
sample data. Miles in different programs are not equivalent.
How it works
Type it
Type the routes and dates in English or Chinese, or set them in the editor.
LAX to Tokyo next month, business
洛杉矶到东京 下个月 商务舱
SFO to London next 60 days, first
Read the table
In the Matrix, rows are the dates and columns the routes. Each cell shows the lowest miles for each cabin
you asked for, with the program and the seats left.
Check before you transfer
Results are seats.aero's cached availability, not a live search, and each shows how old it is. Confirm on
the program's own site before you transfer points.
List, Calendar and Matrix
List, Calendar and Matrix views; compare up to four options; save searches on the device.
ListCalendarMatrix
Sample data is labelled on every screen that shows it, its options have no booking links, and nothing is sent.
Two ways to use it
Sample data, without an account
Without a seats.aero account, AwardGrid shows sample data only: search, the List, Calendar and Matrix
views, option details, compare, Saved and Watches all work on sample data made on the iPhone, for any route
between the 84 airports it recognises, over the next 12 months.
Your own seats.aero account
You connect your seats.aero account with seats.aero's own sign-in (Login with Seats.aero): seats.aero asks
you to sign in and approve AwardGrid, and AwardGrid never sees your password. You can disconnect at any
time, in AwardGrid or in your seats.aero settings.
What it does not do
No live search
Only seats.aero's cached availability. Cached data goes stale and awards disappear;
confirm on the program's own site before transferring points.
No round trips
Searches are one-way: no round trips, multi-city or passenger count.
No guaranteed schedule
iOS cannot promise to run anything on a cadence, so AwardGrid does not claim one.
Watches are checked when you open or return to the app, and at no other time; there is no
background check and no notification.
No airline sites
It reads the seats.aero cache, or uses sample data made on your iPhone. It never opens
an airline site for you, and it never asks for an airline or bank password.
AwardGrid for iPhone has no accounts of its own and no analytics, advertising, tracking or crash reporting.
The app is free, with no in-app purchase. Your own seats.aero data (optional): if you have a seats.aero
account with API access (seats.aero decides which accounts have API access; AwardGrid sells nothing), you can
connect it to see results from that account instead of sample data.
Do I need a seats.aero account?
No. Without one, AwardGrid shows sample data only: search, the List, Calendar and Matrix views, option details,
compare, Saved and Watches all work on sample data made on your iPhone, labelled as sample data, and nothing
is sent. If you have a seats.aero account with API access, you can connect it in Settings to see results from
that account instead.
Is AwardGrid affiliated with seats.aero?
No. AwardGrid is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by seats.aero, any airline, or any loyalty
program. Its data comes from seats.aero.
Is the availability live?
No. Results are seats.aero's cached availability, not a live search, and each shows how old it is. Confirm on
the program's own site before you transfer points.
Can I search in Chinese?
Yes. Type the routes and dates in English or Chinese, or set them in the editor. The app's interface is in
English or Simplified Chinese.
